Dikatakan Chandra kini aktivitas games tidak bisa dipandang sebelah mata. Aktivitas mereka bukan lagi sekedar permainan. Bahkan saat bertanding mereka juga menggandalkan strategi sehingga butuh kecerdasan tersendiri.
“Maka akhir tahun nanti tim esports ini akan bertanding di Sea Games 2019 di Manila. Untuk itu kami sangat senang melihat Acer dapat mendorong anak-anak muda berkompetisi dengan semangat dan mengadu strategi untuk menjadi wakil terbaik Indonesia di Grand Final Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 di Thailand. Sementara pada putaran final Indonesia Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 pada 25 – 27 Januari 2019 lalu di Atrium Mall Taman Anggrek, BOOM.ID dan Aerowolf.TeamEight akhirnya resmi menjadi juara . Tahun ini, BOOM.ID keluar sebagai juara sehingga berhak wakili Indonesia untuk game DOTA 2. Begitu pun Aerowolf.TeamEight akan menjadi perwakilan Indonesia untuk game PUBG. Keduanya akan melanjutkan perjuangan mereka untuk merebut gelar tim terbaik Asia Pasifik di babak Grand Final yang diikuti oleh perwakilan dari 16 negara Asia Pasifik.

BOOM.ID yang beranggotakan Fbz, Fervian, Khezcute, Jhocam, dan Mikoto berhasil memenangkan pertandingan game DOTA 2 setelah bertanding melawan The Prime di babak final. Pertandingan ini merupakan salah satu pertandingan paling sengit dan menegangkan di tahun ini. Final pun dimenangkan oleh BOOM.ID dengan skor akhir 2:0 melawan The Prime yang akhirnya harus puas di posisi runner-up.
Fbz, salah satu personil BOOM.ID mengatakan dibutuhkan keseriusan dalam memenangkan pertandingan.
“Persiapan kami untuk mengikuti pertandingan ini bisa dibilang cukup keras. Dalam sehari kami harus berlatih selama 3-4 jam. Ketika itu setiap individu harus berlatihan tidak kurang dari 8 jam,” kata Fbz, yang sejak 2 tahun menjadi professional gamer.
