WanitaIndonesianews.com, JAKARTA–Data dari Sistem Informasi Online Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (Simfoni) Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak menunjukkan bahwa dari 22.578 kasus kekerasan yang terjadi pada tahun 2022, sebanyak 20.539 korban kekerasaan dialami oleh perempuan dan anak perempuan.
Lebih lanjut berdasarkan data tersebut, 58% korban perempuan ditemukan dari kekerasan Rumah Tangga, 11,5% dari fasilitas umum, dan 1,4% dari tempat kerja.
Selain itu, Korban Kekerasan terhadap Anak (KtA) tercatat sebanyak 2.436 orang, dimana 53,8% dari korban KtA adalah korban kekerasan seksual.
Kesimpulan dari data diatas angka kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak saat ini masih meningkat setiap tahunnya baik di lingkungan kerja, keluarga atau masyarakat.
Dalam semangat memperingati “Hari Internasional Anti Kekerasan Terhadap Perempuan” Procter & Gamble (P&G) Indonesia bersama Save the Children Indonesia mengajak para perempuan dan anak untuk berani katakan “TIDAK” dan menolak tindakan kekerasaan dalam bentuk apapun baik fisik maupun verbal.
Terkait hal tersebut, P&G Indonesia kembali menegaskan komitmen dan aksi nyatanya terkait pencegahan kekerasan seksual baik di lingkungan internal organisasi, maupun di masyarakat yang didukung oleh kemitraan bersama Save the Children.
Seluruh upaya ini sejalan dengan komitmen sosial (citizenship) P&G, khususnya pilar Kesetaraan dan Inklusi (Equality and Inclusion).
Saranathan Ramaswamy , Presiden Direktur P&G Indonesia mengatakan P&G berpegang pada nilai-nilai Kesetaraan dan Inklusi.
“Ini adalah bagian fundamental dari identitas kami dan bagaimana kami menjalankan bisnis. Dengan misi menjadi Force for Growth and Force for Good, kami bercita-cita untuk menciptakan organisasi dan lingkungan dimana akses dan kesempatan yang sama untuk berkembang tersedia bagi semua orang. Oleh karena itu, dalam semangat Hari Internasional Anti Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan, kami akan terus melanjutkan inisiatif dan mendukung penuh segala upaya kesetaraan gender dalam memerangi kekerasaan baik di lingkungan kerja, keluarga dan masyarakat, guna membantu masyarakat mewujudkan kesetaraan hak bagi perempuan dan anak,” papar Saranathan.
Di lingkungan internal organisasinya, P&G mengacu pada Panduan Perilaku Bisnis Seluruh Dunia atau Worldwide Business Conduct Manual (WBCM).
Sebagaimana telah diatur dalam WBCM, P&G menciptakan dan menjaga respek di organisasi melalui tiga area utama, yakni Keberagaman dan Inklusi, Kebijjakan Non-Diskriminasi, serta Pencegahan Pelecehan, baik secara fisik, seksual, lisan maupun tulisan.
Tidak hanya itu, P&G juga memastikan jika ada karyawan yang menyaksikan atau mengalami tindakan kekerasan di lingkungan kerja, maka karyawan juga dapat melaporkannya lewat layanan kontak keamanan global internal P&G.
Sementara itu, di lingkungan masyarakat, P&G berkolaborasi dengan Save The Children sejak 2018 dalam memerangi kekerasan seksual terhadap anak-anak, khususnya anak-anak perempuan, dengan mendorong terciptanya peluang yang setara bagi anak laki-laki dan perempuan dan mendukung perubahan perilaku yang lebih sensitif terhadap gender di kalangan remaja, orang tua, dan guru di Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat.
Data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan kasus pernikahan di bawah umur masih tinggi di Indonesia, terutama di Provinsi Jawa Barat dimana terdapat jumlah kasus kekerasan anak tertinggi dengan total 1.766 kasus.
Provinsi Jawa Barat juga menempati posisi kedua sebagai provinsi dengan masalah perkawinan di bawah umur terbanyak dengan angka 11,48% dari keseluruhan kasus pada tahun 2020.
Terkhusus di Kabupaten Cianjur, data dari Forum Anak Daerah Kabupaten Cianjur tahun 2021 menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Cianjur menempati posisi tertinggi kedua pada tahun 2020 di Provinsi Jawa Barat tentang masalah perkawinan di bawah umur dengan angka 48,6%.
Terkait hal ini, P&G meyakini bahwa akses pendidikan yang setara merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam memerangi kekerasan seksual, khususnya praktik perkawinan di bawah umur.
Oleh karena itu, P&G Indonesia secara aktif berkontribusi dalam mengakselerasi terwujudnya kesetaraan gender melalui pendidikan dengan membuat program “We See Equal” sebagai bagian dari implementasi komitmen sosial P&G dalam Kesetaraan & Inklusi yang merepresentasikan intervensi komprehensif terhadap Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
Program We See Equal pertama kali diluncurkan pada 2018 untuk memastikan anak perempuan mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama dengan anak laki-laki. Persamaan hak dan kesempatan meliputi akses terhadap pelayanan kesehatan, pelayanan pendidikan yang berkualitas, kesempatan untuk menyampaikan pendapat dengan memberikan ruang yang aman untuk berpartisipasi, serta memiliki status sosial ekonomi yang lebih baik.
Saat ini, program We See Equal memasuki fase ketiga (Mei 2022- April 2024) di Kabupaten Bandung dan Kabupaten Cianjur dengan harapan dapat menjangkau sebanyak 6.000 anak, dengan memasuki tahapan sosio-ekologis melalui pendekatan CHOICES (partisipasi anak yang bermakna), VOICES (keterlibatan aktif orang tua), serta PROMISEIS (komitmen masyarakat untuk turut memperkuat faktor pendukung perlindungan dan perkembangan anak).
Ketua Yayasan Save the Children Indonesia, Selina Sumbung mengatakan pihaknya bersama P&G melalui program We See Equal mulai dari komunitas di tingkat keluarga, sekolah, dan desa, untuk lebih menyadari terhadap bentuk-bentuk kekerasan terhadap anak.
“Sejauh ini, masalah yang teridentifikasi banyak yang berkaitan dengan kekerasan berbasis gender dimana perempuan seringkali menjadi korban, misalnya seperti kasus-kasus kekerasan terhadap anak, perkawinan anak, anak-anak yang putus sekolah, dan bullying. Masalah-masalah ini bermuara pada satu hal krusial sebagai fundamental kehidupan anak, yakni pengasuhan orang tua. Oleh karena itu, penguatan upaya pengasuhan akan menjadi fokus utama kami di fase ketiga ini. Selain edukasi, program We See Equal juga mendorong penerapan SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Kekerasan, serta memberikan Modul CHOICES yang berisi pendidikan karakter yang telah diduplikasi oleh 30 sekolah, serta akan diduplikasi di 75 sekolah lainnya dengan dukungan Dinas Pendidikan untuk menekan angka kekerasan terhadap anak di level zero case.”
Selain upaya pemerintah, LSM dan pihak swasta, upaya untuk memerangi kekerasan terhadap perempuan membutuhkan partisipasi dari seluruh elemen masyarakat, termasuk dari masing-masing individu.
Oleh karena itu, Yanti Kusumawardhani selaku Child Protection Specialist dari Save the Children Indonesia juga turut membagikan beberapa hal yang dapat kita lakukan dalam mendeteksi, mencegah, melaporkan dan memberantas kekerasan terhadap perempuan khususnya anak-anak di lingkungan sekitar kita.
Dalam mencegah eksploitasi dan kekerasan seksual pada anak, baik laki-laki dan perempuan, Save the Children menekankan pentingnya beberapa pendekatan.
Pertama, penyadaran; Menyadari perilaku dari semua pihak terkait upaya untuk melindungi anak-anak dari segala bentuk kekerasan, khususnya kekerasan seksual, baik di dalam kehidupan pribadi, maupun pekerjaan.
Kedua, pencegahan; meminimalisasi risiko segala bentuk kekerasan dan eksploitasi anak.
Ketiga, pelaporan; mengambil langkah saat timbul kecurigaan atau kekhawatiran terkait dugaan kekerasan seksual atau eksploitasi anak.
Keempat, menanggapi; memastikan bahwa tindakan segera diambil untuk mengidentifikasi dan menangani laporan kekerasan dan eksploitasi anak, dan untuk memastikan keselamatan dan kesejahteraan anak/orang yang terlibat.
P&G Indonesia berharap bahwa segala upaya dan tindakan pencegahan kekerasaan pada perempuan dan anak dapat menjadi langkah nyata yang berkelanjutan untuk memerangi kekerasan berbasis gender, sehingga dapat membantu menghadirkan kesempatan hidup yang lebih setara dan berkualitas bagi para perempuan dan anak.
